About this event

On Saturday 20th July Isle of Wight Pride returns to Harbour Beach in Ryde for a packed day of entertainment. Enjoy our Community Village stalls and activities plus a variety of food and drink. Our main stage will feature incredible artists including our headliners; Winner of RuPaul's Drag Race UK Ginger Johnson and former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt. Plus Drag King sensation Don One, Singer/Songwriter Smashby, Island legend Quivers, The Boy George Experience, Singer/Songwriter Tana, incredible Queens Aida H Dee, Glew and Raiine, Solent Gay Men's Chorus and local artists Annie Horton and Sionna Madden. General admission tickets are FREE and we have a limited number of VIP tickets.

VIP Tickets - £20+booking fee -18+/Non-refundable/R.O.A.R. All proceeds from ticket sales go to Isle of Wight Pride (Registered Charity 1175094). The VIP area has its own bar and toilets, a great view of the stage and every VIP gets an Isle of Wight Pride goodie bag!

Entry to Harbour Beach area is by General Admission or VIP ticket only, this includes children.

Tickets

Only customers with a valid ticket will be allowed into the event. Tickets are not exchangeable or refundable. Re-sale is not allowed. Tickets may not be used as part of a promotion, competition, advertising, or be given away as part of a product or service package or for commercial gain without the permission of the promoter. Any attempt to do so will result in the ticket being void and we will refuse any person holding such a ticket, without refund. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.

​​Alcohol Policies

We will operate and enforce a strict Challenge 25 policy at all our bars. Please make sure that you bring an acceptable form of identification such as driving licence or passport.
Bringing alcohol onto Harbour Beach is strictly prohibited. You may purchase alcohol at the bars on Harbour Beach

Bag Policies

We will be operating a bag search policy at all entrances. We may also search you using a pat-down method, or a security wand.​

Animals

Due to venue restrictions, pets are not allowed to attend the event. Certified Assistance animals permitted with prior confirmation. Please email info@iwpride.org to notify the team prior to the event if you are bringing a service animal. We are unable to accept emotional support dogs.

Food

No food to be brought onto Harbour Beach including picnics & BBQs. Food can be purchased at the food outlets on Harbour Beach.


Camping Chairs and Tents

Camping chairs are allowed - any misuse of chairs will result in them being confiscated. Tents, gazebos and camping equipment are not permitted.


Code of Conduct

​We expect everyone attending to behave in an appropriate manner.
You must consent to search on entry to the event. Confiscated items will not be returned.

• Any offensive behaviour including homophobia, transphobia, racism, or sexism will not be tolerated. Isle of Wight Pride's aim is to use our events to champion equality, diversity, and inclusivity. Our events are open for all to enjoy who share our vision for a world in which people can be their authentic selves with no fear of censure, judgement, inequality, or abuse.

• All, attendees, staff, volunteers, security personnel, medical teams, Police, Fire and Ambulance should be treated with respect. Any incident of harassment towards anyone at the event may be reported to the Police and dealt with accordingly. Please comply with requests/directions from staff and volunteers regarding event operations.


Restricted items

  • No illegal or psychoactive substances
  • No bringing food onto Harbour Beach, including picnics. Food stalls will be selling food on the beach for you to purchase
  • No dangerous or hazardous items
  • No disposable BBQ’s or fire pits
  • No fireworks, flares, or pyrotechnics
  • No inflatables or Chinese lanterns
  • No flyers for distribution
  • No offensive posters, signs or banners
  • No goods for unauthorised trading (or with unauthorised Pride logos)
  • No lasers or laser pens
  • No unofficial tabards or reflective jackets
  • No tents, gazebos or camping equipment
  • No super soakers or water pistols
  • No air horns, megaphones, klaxon’s similar
  • No spray cans, aerosols, or gas canisters
  • No drones
  • No unauthorised professional commercial photography
  • No bringing alcohol onto Harbour Beach, bars will be selling alcohol for you to purchase on the beach.

Where can I park?

The closest car park to the site is Quay Road car park which is operated by the Council as a pay and display car park.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

The Community Village is spread across Eastern Gardens which is wheelchair accessible. The VIP area on Harbour Beach is also wheelchair accessible. The main entrance onto Harbour Beach has tracking which allows wheelchair access to a viewing area on the beach and to stalls.

Can I take children into the VIP area?

No, the VIP area is for 18+ only.

Where is the nearest public transport?

Ryde Bus Station, Hovertravel and Wightlink Fastcat are all within walking distance of the event.
